Buckden Singers is a four part community choir based in the tiny  Yorkshire Dales village of Buckden, in Upper Wharfedale.

Founded in 2007, when a group of a dozen friends formed a singing group, meeting in a villagerís sitting room, the choir has rapidly expanded to more than 40 members, from Buckden and surrounding villages.

The choir, which rehearses weekly, welcomes members from all areas and   includes one fifth of the population of Buckden.

Buckden Singers appeared in the ITV1 series  "The Dales" with Ade Edmondson. Buckden Singers have also featured on BBC Radio 3's "Meet my Choir" slot.

The choir performs at least twice over the summer, and three times over Christmas. We also support worship at St Michael & All Angels, Hubberholme several times a year.

This year Buckden Singers performed at The Kettlewell Virtual Scarecrow Festival, releasing one song a day for the nine days of the festival - Click here to view
