The Penny Plain Theatre Company led by our local Doctor - Andrew Jackson - are coming to Buckden on Friday 8th December to put on a show - "Hardcastle's Christmas Punch".

The performance, which is part of the company's Christmas Tour of of the Dale, consists of "a Christmas Mummer's play, Yorkshire Carol signing and wassailing" (which as those of you who were at the Quiz on Sunday will remember is an ancient Anglo-Saxon tradition).

The performance is on Friday evening at 7.00 p.m. in the Buck and will last approximately half and hour. It would be good if you are able to attend (in spite of the unfortunate venue) to support our local doctor and his troupe.
