Monday Walk

Date:            Monday 1st September 2008 

Location:      Askrigg - circular walk               

Distance:       Approx. 5. ml.  

                     An "easy/moderate" walk including one climb of 531 ft. Askrigg - Newbiggin - Wodhall   

Meet:            Outside The Buck Inn, in time to depart at 10:30 a.m. Transport can be provided. Bring a picnic lunch.

Evening Stroll

Date:         Wednesday 10th September 2008

Location:   Circular walk based on the White Lion, Cray

Distance:   3 miles. Route - Cray, Scar House, Hubberholme, Fairy Glen

Meet:         Leave Buckden - 5.35 p.m. or meet at Cray - 5.45 p.m.; non walkers meet at the white Lion by 7.30 p.m.

Sunday Walk

Date:         Sunday 21st September 2008

Location:   Circular walk based on Rope Makers at Hawes - walk to Hardraw including visit to Hardraw Force (admission £3)

Distance:   5 miles (includes 2 or 3 short steep ascents)

Meet:         Buck Inn  @ 10.15 - to start walk at 11.00

Lunch:       At the Green Dragon
