Well connected sources tell us that Posh Spice is to join the Buckden Singers for their Autumn Cabaret Evening in the Institute. Miss Spice - otherwise known as Victoria Beckham - has apparently heard glowing reports of the talents of well known Huberholme rapper, MC "Wilf" Jowsey and is allededly keen to feature him on her new single - a hip-hop remix of the old Lionel Bart classic "Oom-pah-pah". This is known to be one of rapper Wilf's party pieces.

When asked if she could confirm the story, Anne Vetch, Buckden Singers Musical Director, said "It's the first I've heard of it - but she would be very welcome - we'll take anybody"

Meanwhile, while talking to MC "Wilf" we asked him to confirm persistent rumours that he would be doing a Pole Dance in the cabaret. Wilf replied enigmatically."I don't mind who I dance with - Poles, Czechs, Hungarians, anybody".
