Buckden Village Show Buckden Village show was held in the Institute on 26th & 27th October. A star-studded cast entertained a sell out audience of locals and visitors. The evening marked the debut performance of the Buckden Singers who, accompanied by Maestro John Cowpe performed a wide variety of numbers as well as leading the audience in community singing. The village children gave a dramatic rendering of the Owl and the Pussycat, complete with very impressive scenery and there were a variety of readings and dances perfomed by the children and other villagers. In all 47 people took part in the performance of whom 40 came from the parish of Buckden.
