MGOC Northern National at Pateley Bridge

For the second year running the MG Owners Club held their Northern National meeting at the Nidderdale Showground at Pately Bridge. More than 500 MGs were present ranging from many pre-war cars through to some of the last examples built. The pictures below show a variety of the cars on display, including a very interesting RWA Midget fitted with 16v dohc K Series engine and five speed box, as well as illustrating the re-fuelling opportunities (it has to be said that the hot dogs did not compare to those available at Buckden Gala – mind you, I didn’t think the ones at Kilnsey Show did either; it just shows - it’s not enough to get the sausages from Jackson’s – the skill of the cooks is just as important!).
